Civic Media will also license the seller’s Classic Hits “Max-FM (http://www.wrpq.com)” formatics, mascot, logo and service marks currently heard on the station. The Kory Hartman owned Baraboo Broadcasting retains its three LPTV’s in Baraboo.
Flinn Broadcasting continues its divestitures of its leased stations to their lessees. World Matters Inc. will purchase 93.7 KPGF Sun Valley/Reno NV from Flinn for $175,000. World Matters began operating KPGF last year via Time Brokerage Agreement as Talk “America Matters Media (https://www.americamatters.us)” which previously aired (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/240785/kfoy-brings-syndicated-conservative-talkers-to-reno/) on Lotus Communications’ 1060 KFOY Sparks.
Richard Michael Kirtner is buying out Thomas Wolf’s 75% stake in Fifth Avenue Broadcasting Company giving him full ownership of their six stations in Huntington WV for $1.3 million. The deal is structured with Wolf cancelling $337,201.45 in debt owed to him, Kirtner paying $512,798.55 at closing and $450,000 to be paid monthly over seven years. Fifth Avenue Broadcasting owns Rock “92.7 The Planet (http://planet927.com)” WCMI-FM Catlettsburg KY/98.5 W253BB Huntington, Country “93.7 The Dawg (http://937thedawg.com)” WDGG Ashland KY, AC “97.9 The River (http://979theriver.com)” WMGA Kenova, Classic Country “Big Buck 101.5 (http://bigbuck1015.com)” WXBW Gallipolis OH, Sports “ESPN 94.1 (http://wrvc.com)” 930 WRVC/W231BS Huntington, and Sports “Cat Sports 1340/93.3 (https://catsports933.com)” WCMI Ashland KY.
Rocking M Media has filed the bankruptcy court approved sale (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/244492/four-operators-to-split-12-stations-auctioned-off-by-rocking-m-media/) of its five Wichita area stations and two others to Bill Wachter?s My Town Media. My Town Media will pay $1,335,257.17 for 92.7 KWME Wellington, 97.1 KIBB Haven, 100.5 KVWF Augusta, 1130 KLEY/100.3 K262CQ Wellington, 1550 KKLE Winfield in the Wichita market plus 1290 KMMM Pratt and 1470 KSMM Liberal. The $1.18 million total for those five stations is well below the $6,188,645 that Rocking M would have received for them plus 92.3 KKGQ Newton (sold to Pinnacle Media for $623,000 in 2021) had its 2019 sale (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/180682/sale-conflict-takes-wichita-cluster-off-the-air/) to Allied Media Partners closed if not for liens placed on the stations.
Larry Fuss’ Oxford Media Group is acquiring the Construction Permit for 94.7 WRBM Taylor/Oxford MS from SSR Communications for $95,000. Fuss is the Managing Partner of Delta Radio Networks in western Mississippi, South Seas Broadcasting in American Samoa, and Kauai?i Broadcast Partners in Hawaii.
Sair Communications sells Spanish Christian “Salvacion (https://salvacionradionetwork.org)” 101.5 KOCD Okeene OK to Franciso Martinez’s Calvario Communications for $68,000.
Translator SalesEducational Media Foundation will transfer 96.1 K241BO Belton/Temple TX to Houston Christian Broadcasters in exchange for the right to upgrade its 92.1 KYLR Hutto/Austin. To do so, Houston Christian Broadcasters will file a contingent application downgrading its 91.9 KALD Caldwell/College Station from a Class C2 to C3. K241BO will be fed via EMF’s 88.5 KVLT-HD2 Temple.
Frank McCoy’s Auslator LLC sells 100.7 W264DT Clyde NC (with application to move to 92.1 Asheville) to Radio Training Network for $150,000. W264DT will rebroadcast the buyer’s 91.3 WLFA Asheville.
