Blavat’s “Geater Gold Radio (https://geatorgigs.webs.com/radio)” was currently heard daily on a network of stations in the region including 1490 WBCB (https://wbcb1490.com)/107.3 W297CL Levittown PA/Trenton NJ, from 5-7pm on “Cruisin’ 92.1 (https://www.wvlt.com)” WVLT Vineland NJ, and 7-9pm on “Kool 98.3 (https://kool983.com)” WTKU Atlantic City. He also hosted a weekly Saturday night show on AAA 88.5 WXPN (https://xpn.org) Philadelphia.
With a broadcast career spanning back to 1960, the South Philly native was heard on multiple stations in the market starting at WCAM Camden and later 1340 WHAT, 98.1 WCAU-FM, 560 WFIL, and 1540 WPGR. He also hosted television shows in the 60s on WCAU-TV and WFIL-TV. He has owned the Margate City NJ nightclub “Memories” since 1972 and continuously promoted concerts and dance parties in Philadelphia and down the shore.
