KHTK will expand its “Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross” to run from 6-11am as opposed to its current 6-9am timeslot. Joining the station to host middays from 11am to 2pm will be Dave ‘Deuce’ Morgan and Morgan Ragan for “Deuce and Mo”. The duo currently host a podcast and YouTube shows together and previously worked at KHTK from 2012 to 2016. Deuce Morgan is also producer of Sacramento Kings radio broadcasts, play-by-play voice for the NBA G League’s Stockton Kings and contributor to NBC Sports California. Ragan hosts Sacramento Kings pre and postgame shows on NBC Sports California and game analyst for the Stockton Kings.
Nick Cattles and Ramie Makhlouf will continue in afternoons from 2 to 6pm, however Cattles will hand off the Program Director duties at the station to Brian Gebhardt next month. Gebhardt joins KHTK from Audacy’s “92.9 The Game” WZGC Atlanta where he has spent the past seven years most recently as midday show producer.
Sactown Sports 1140AM is proud to welcome Dave ?Deuce? Morgan and Morgan Ragan, also known to fans as Deuce and Mo, to its live and local lineup beginning Monday, Jan. 23. The duo will broadcast live weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
?Deuce and Mo are a fabric of the Sacramento Kings,? Steve Cottingim, SVP/Market Manager, said of the addition. ?Being able to bring their brand to Sactown Sports as we extend our live sports coverage from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day is very exciting.?
