The move comes after multiple women have shared screenshots and allegations of Patrico messaging them to send nude pictures or videos of sexual acts, while offering to make them the station’s “Team Rizz Member of the Day” for doing so, which currently offers giving listeners a special jersey, pizza, on-air mentions, a song-request, and phone call from member of the morning show.
Patrico had been with KPNT since 2007 and had been part of “The Rizzuto Show” since its launch in 2014. In a brief statement the station wrote, “Tony Patrico is no longer with Hubbard Radio or a member of The Rizzuto Show. The show returns as scheduled tomorrow at 6am.”
