Hosted by GoDaddy, the auction (https://www.godaddy.com/domain-auctions/radio-com-446148831) runs through March 28, 2023 with a minimum required offer of $2,500,000.
The Radio.com domain was first registered in August 1996 by Internet Multicasting Service. CNET Networks would purchase it and TV.com later that year for $30,000. Following CNET’s 2008 acquisition by CBS, Radio.com was transferred to their radio division where it was launched as the platform for the company’s streaming operations in 2010 and later as primary domain for all of the station’s websites, a practice that would continue following Entercom’s 2017 purchase of CBS Radio. The Radio.com brand would be retired in March 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/206619/entercom-planning-major-rebranding-announcement-tuesday/) when Entercom renamed both itself and the platform as Audacy.
