Blakk previously hosted afternoons and nights and rose to Assistant Program Director at KSAN during her previous stint at the station from 2005 to 2015. She has also worked at 92.3 KSJO San Jose, 96.7 KMRQ Modesto, and 101.7 KXFX Santa Rosa. Since departing the station, she had been working in the concert business most recently as the road manager for Jackson Browne.
Blakk takes the afternoon slot that had been held by Joe ?Hawk? Ceccotti since September 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/212391/joe-hawk-takes-afternoons-at-107-7-the-bone/). Ceccotti has exited after nine years at the station where he rose from an intern to weekend host to afternoons.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed Nikki Blakk as On-Air Host, Afternoon Drive for Bay Area Classic Rock station, 107.7 The Bone/KSAN-FM. Blakk, a Bay Area native, started her radio broadcasting career while a student at San Francisco State University, when she interned for 107.7 The Bone. She has since held on-air positions at Rock 96.7/KMRQ-FM in Modesto, CA, KSJO-FM in San Jose, CA, 101.7 The Fox in Santa Rosa, CA, and at 107.7 The Bone, where she spent a decade behind the microphone. In 2015, Blakk?s career took her to the concerts and touring arena, where she was most recently Road Manager for Jackson Browne.
Blakk will be heard on 107.7 The Bone beginning Monday, December 5th, and airs weekdays from 2:00pm-7:00pm.
