Martz will receive a tax credit for an amount determined via an appraisal done by the end of the year. The 1.4kW daytime signal will join PPM’s other holdings which include co-located 1550 WZUM Braddock, 101.1 W266CV Braddock/Pittsburgh and 88.1 WZUM-FM Bethany WV all of which operate as “The Pittsburgh Jazz Channel (https://www.wzum.org)“.
With the four-year window keeping the translator bound to the AM signal expired, the Audacy programmed Hip Hop/R&B format will now originate from 107.9 WDSY-HD2 Pittsburgh allowing the AM to be eliminated from the operation.
