Now positioning as “Savannah’s Official Christmas Music Station”, the move jumps the gun on iHeartMedia’s “98.7 The River (https://987theriver.iheart.com)” WYKZ which usually has the Christmas music lane in Savannah to itself. With the switch, WRWN has also added McKenzie ‘Mac’ Benefield for middays. She moves over from the same timeslot at Country “Bob 106.9 (https://bob1069.com)” WUBB where she has been since January 2021.
WRWN currently ranks seventeenth in the Savannah market with a 1.3 share in the Spring 2022 Nielsen Audio ratings.
