Young joined EMF in 2009 on the on-air side serving as morning show co-host and then midday host at “Air 1“. She rose to APD/MD for that network in 2018 and then Program Director later that year. She then added programming duties for “K-Love” in October 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/199680/emf-promotes-mandy-young-to-pd-overseeing-k-love-air1/). Prior to joining EMF, Young worked at Christian AC “JQ 99” WJQK Grand Rapids MI. In her new role, Young will “focus her time on long-term vision, strategies, and projects for the networks and help the ministry navigate the ever-changing landscape of radio”.
West joined EMF as Assistant Program Director in November 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/215223/troy-west-joins-emf-as-assistant-program-director/). He previously spent seven years at Christian AC 89.3 KSBJ Houston first as APD from 2014-18 and then Program Director until his move to EMF. He had previously served as Station Manager and PD at “JQ 99” WJQK Grand Rapids MI, PD of “Way FM“, and MD at KFSB and KIXQ Joplin MO.

Effective immediately, Mandy Young takes on the role of vice president of radio. Mandy joined EMF in 2009 and throughout her tenure has served as Air1 morning show co-host, midday host, assistant program director, music director, and in 2018, Air1 program director. In 2020, Mandy’s role expanded again when she was named EMF radio group program director, leading the programming for both Air1 and K-LOVE.*

Hired by Mandy as assistant program director of the EMF radio group in 2021, Troy will continue to report to Mandy as he assumes her former role and will oversee day-to-day programming, talent coaching, and operations for both K-LOVE and Air1. Troy*brings expertise and a track record of success from his previous work as program director at 89.3 KSBJ Houston, station manager and program director at JQ99 WJQ Grand Rapids, Mich., and program director at WAY-FM West Palm Beach, Fla.*
