Bentley, who goes by her surname on-air, joins the organization from Cumulus Media where she was APD/MD/afternoon host at Alternative “103.3 The Edge (https://www.wedg.com)” WEDG and also tracked middays at “96.9 The Fox (https://www.fox969.com)” WWWX Oshkosh WI. WBFO launched The Bridge (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/215447/aaa-the-bridge-built-in-buffalo/) in November 2021.

Buffalo Toronto Public Media has named Tiffany Bentley its first program director for WBFO The Bridge, the organization’s Triple-A music service that launched in November 2021.
“Bentley’s experience in the format as well as her commitment to multi-platform expertise and to connecting with the community made her a natural choice for the station’s first program director,” said David Rotterman, Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer for Buffalo Toronto Public Media.
Bentley’s experience in media includes both commercial radio (Cumulus and Entercom, now Audacy) as well as at WDIY in Bethlehem, PA, a public radio station and part of the NPR network. Bentley has been a morning drive host and assistant program director and afternoon drive host on Alternative stations. She has been successful growing a brand both at a corporate and a grassroots level, implementing well-attended events, and connecting with the music community. That experience is key to the continued growth of WBFO The Bridge’s prominence in the local and professional music scenes as well as the Western New York and Southern Ontario communities.
“When we envisioned the kind of program director we wanted to launch our new music service to the next level, which includes the power of our television station as well as all of our digital platforms, we wanted someone with exactly the kind of experience and vision Bentley has,” said Tom Calderone, President & CEO of Buffalo Toronto Public Media. “We couldn’t be more excited about Bentley joining our team.”
