https://i0.wp.com/radioinsight.com/wp-content/images/2022/10/wboc.jpg?resize=200%2C200&ssl=1After retiring from mornings from Forever Media CHR “Eagle 97.7 (https://www.foreverdelmarva.com/eagle977/)” WAFL Milford DE in June 2021, the personality known simply as Petch is joining Draper Media Hot AC 102.5 WBOC-FM (https://www.wboc1025.com) Princess Anne/Salisbury MD for mornings starting Monday, October 10.
Petch spent fourteen years at WAFL in afternoons and then mornings after previously working in his native United Kingdom. WBOC-FM has not indicated how his arrival will adjust the remainder of the on-air lineup, which currently features his former WAFL co-host Leah Rizzo in mornings, Andrew Stinson in middays, and Sarah Ockels in afternoons.

After deciding to retire from radio in June of last year ending his 16 year run Hosting Mornings on Forever Media’s (WAFL) Eagle 977, Petch has decided to set that early alarm clock again.
Starting Monday 10/10 Petch will be back on Mornings 6-10 at Draper Media’s 1025 WBOC in Salisbury MD.
Petch said: After taking just over a year out I feel refreshed and super excited to be back on air again in Delmarva, Radio in Delmarva needs their daily slice of my Britishness in the mornings and I’m just the guy to give it to them.
And I’m a big believer in omens, My first day on air at WBOC will be 10/10 and that’s the same date 10/10 when I first flew to the states from the UK for my Interview at Eagle 977.
I would love to say thanks to Draper Media’s Bill Vernon, Frank Hamilton and Sarah Ockels for being huge supporters of what i do, So get ready for the fun and madness returning to your radio
Petch arrived in the U.S from the UK in January 2007 after a successful radio career in the UK hosting Mornings and Afternoons, He became the longest running morning host in the history of WAFL (Eagle 977).
