Hunter has been with Classic Hits “92.9 The Drive (https://www.929thedrive.com)” KBEZ, Country “98.5 The Bull (https://www.thebulltulsa.com)” KVOO, Classic Country “Big Country 99.5 (https://www.bigcountry995.com)” KXBL, CHR “106.9 K-Hits (https://www.khits.com)” KHTT, and Sports “1170 The Blitz (https://www.theblitztulsa.com)” KTSB since joining the then Scripps owned cluster in 2016. He previously spent 22 years at Cox Media Group Tulsa where his duties included Operations Manager, PD of AC “Mix 96” KRAV and Classic Rock “103.3 The Eagle” KJSR and Cox’s corporate AC Format Leader. He also worked at other stations across the Tulsa market between 1985 and 1994.
In a statement Hunter said, “I have really enjoyed my time at Griffin and can’t say enough good things about the company or the people. Honored to be part of such a wonderful team and five great radio brands. We assembled a great team that will continue to do great things. Just honored to be on the team and proud of our accomplishments. Going to take some time to see what is next.”
