https://i0.wp.com/radioinsight.com/wp-content/images/2021/10/wqam.jpg?resize=200%2C200&ssl=1After eighteen years between “790 The Ticket (https://www.audacy.com/theticketmiami)” WAXY and 560 WQAM (https://www.audacy.com/wqam), Jonathan Zaslow has exited Audacy Miami.
Zaslow had been hosting 10am to 2pm on WQAM since last October (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/214496/audacy-shuffles-miami-sports-programming-as-local-emphasis-shifts-to-wqam-betql-to-790-waxy/) when the company moved most of its local Miami Sports programming over to 560. He previously spent his entire professional career at WAXY starting as a producer in 2004. He would then host nights and then mornings in 2011. Zaslow and then co-host Amber Wilson moved to middays in 2019 and he has hosted solo since her departure in June 2021.
Zaslow has also hosted the NBA’s Miami Hieat pregame, halftime, and postgame shows on WAXY since 2010. The franchise’s games will be moving to WQAM (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/238185/miami-heat-move-to-wqam/) this season.
The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson reports (https://twitter.com/flasportsbuzz/status/1573431695898189824) that WAXY morning hosts Brendan Tobin and Leroy Hoard will move to middays on WQAM. WQAM morning hosts Joe Rose and Zach Krantz will be simulcast on both stations just as afternoon hosts Marc Hochman and Channing Crowder are.

Today was the last day for the “Zaslow Show” on local Miami radio. 18 years, very good run. Thanks to all my listeners!!!
