Country “Minnesota 93” has moved from the Class C1 93.1 KATO-FM New Ulm to the C2 signal of 100.5 KXAC St. James as “Minnesota 100 (http://kxac.com)“. That eliminates the Classic Hits “Magic 100.5” format that had been heard on the frequency since December 2018 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/173161/magical-change-in-mankato/). The move gives the Country format a stronger signal in the nearby Fairmont market.
93.1 KATO-FM is currently looping Los Del Rio’s “Macarena” with sweepers promoting the move of the Country format and teasers for a launch on Tuesday, September 6.
