Valkoun has been with the company since 2003, serving as National Sales Manager and then VP/Sales in Milwaukee before rising to Market President for Milwaukee and Madison in 2015. She previously spent a decade in sales as Saga Communications Milwaukee before joining iHeart.
The Milwaukee Business Journal reports (https://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/news/2022/08/31/colleen-valkoun-exits-role-leading-milwaukee-radio.html) that Area President Jeff Tyler will add the Milwaukee market president duties to his current position with Tyler telling the MBJ, “With this change I had the duties of market president for Milwaukee added to my position.”
Tyler has been based in Madison as Wisconsin Area President since May 2021. He has been with iHeartMedia and its predecessors since 1997 serving as General Manager in Madison from 1997 to 2010, VP/Market Manager for Madison and Milwaukee from 2010 to 2012, Regional Market Manager for Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire WI plus Grand Rapids MI and Rochester MN from 2012 to 2014, and Minneapolis Region President from 2015 to 2021.
