The WKHX Atlanta based show debuted in syndication (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/213562/cumulus-to-syndicate-kincaid-dallas-to-25-country-stations/) in October 2021. The show itself launched in January 2019 when JJ Kincaid joined Dallas McCade at “New Country 101.5 (http://JJ Kincaid joined Dallas McCade)“. Kincaid had previously spent his entire career in Top 40 hosting mornings at KPTT Denver, nine years in afternoons at “Z100” WHTZ New York and stints at KHKS Dallas, KDWB Minneapolis, WKST Pittsburgh, and WNVZ Norfolk. McCade has been in the Atlanta market for the past two decades with long runs at “Y106.7” WYAY and WKHX.
Kincaid and Dallas will replace Scott McCormick in mornings at WFBE. McCormick had only joined WFBE at the start of 2022 after stints at multiple groups in Rapid City SD and Sacramento CA. He also served as APD of the station.
