KJJZ was previously “Kool 95.9” as a Soft AC from August 2016 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/107726/kjjz-palm-springs-rebrands-as-kool-95-9/) until it flipped first to Hot AC while retaining the Kool brand and then to CHR as “Hot 95.9” last September (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/213133/from-kool-to-hot-in-palm-springs/).
