Ayala replaces Johnny ‘DJ Koolout” Starks after his exit in July that led to sexual harassment allegations (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/233269/kdgs-pd-morning-host-greg-hitman-williams-off-air-following-sexual-harassment-allegations/) against PD/morning host Gregory ‘Hitman’ Williams. After a brief investigation, Williams returned to the air on August 1.
Ayala joined KDGS as morning co-host in 2017 after a two year stint at Rhythmic AC “Q92” KKGQ.
Audacy is beginning a search (https://careers-audacy.icims.com/jobs/4636/kdgs-morning-show-co-host/job) for a new co-host to team with Williams.
