Annie Fox and Cole Dunbar will join Country “97.1 Hank-FM (https://www.hankfm.com)” WLHK Indianapolis to host mornings starting Monday, August 22. Fox joins the station from mornings at Cumulus Media Country “102.5 Nash-FM (https://www.nashfm1025.com)” WMDH-FM New Castle/Muncie IN. Dunbar crosses over from Cumulus Media Indianapolis where he has served as producer of Dave Smiley’s morning show on CHR 99.5 WZPL (https://www.wzpl.com) since 2018, cluster programming assistant since 2020, and for the past year as afternoon host on Hot AC “107.9 The Mix (https://www.indysmix.com)” WNTR.
Current WLHK morning host Mindy Winkler will move to evenings. Winkler joined WLHK in 2019 and has been part of morning shows with Caleb James and later Joey Tack. She has been hosting solo since Tack’s departure earlier this year. She previously served as a traffic reporter in the market and hosts weekends on Emmis AC “B105.7 (https://www.b1057.com)” WYXB. The Indiana native was also a Colts cheerleader and hosted the kids shows on WTTV-TV.
Over the past couple of days, multiple Emmis staffers exited (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/237424/emmis-indianapolis-makes-cuts-ahead-of-radio-one-sale/) as their positions were eliminated and Radio One began the move (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/237797/hot-96-3-indianapolis-makes-its-move-to-100-9/) of Hip Hop “Hot 96.3” WHHH to 100.9 replacing CHR “Radio Now“.
