While retaining its “Locally Grown Radio” moniker WFHR has immediately flipped to Liberal Talk as has another of Civic Media’s pending acquisitions. Sunrise Broadcasting’s “Sports Fan 98.9” 1230 WXCO/98.9 W255DN Wausau is now “Bull Falls Radio (https://bullfallsradio.com)“. Both stations are running a mix of programming from Crute’s Madison and Milwaukee stations, syndications, as well as a locally focused morning show “Up North News” hosted by former state senator Pat Kreitlow as an extension of his website.
Following the sale of WFHR and WIRI, Heart of Wisconsin Media retains Classic Hits “Wisconsin 106 (https://wisconsin106.com)” WCWI Adams.
