Salem agreed to reacquire (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/209919/salem-reacquires-kkol-seattle/) KKOL from Tron Din Doh’s Intelli LLC in June 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/209919/salem-reacquires-kkol-seattle/) for $500,000. Co-located on KLFE’s towers in Bainbridge Island WA, the sale has yet to close due to blanketing interference complaints received from nearby residents holding up its license renewal and sale approval. The complaints stem from KKOL’s move to the KLFE site in 2019 when it upgraded to 50kW day/3.2 kW night. Salem had owned KKOL until swapping it to Intelli (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/168386/salem-swaps-one-in-seattle-for-one-in-portland/) for a Portland signal in 2018.
