The new inductees are:


Marv Dyson – General Manager of 106.3 WJPC-FM and 1390 WGCI/107.5 WGCI-FM Chicago
Lon Helton – Host of Country Countdown USA and publisher of Country Aircheck
Ellen K – Morning host at KOST Los Angeles and former co-host at 102.7 KIIS-FM from 1990 to 2015.
Broadway Bill Lee – Afternoon host at WCBS-FM New York. Formerly at WTIC-FM Hartford, KFRC San Francisco, WLOL Minneapolis, KPKE Denver and WQHT and WKTU New York.
Walt ‘Baby’ Love – Host of Gospel Traxx. Formerly worked at stations including KYOK and KILT Houston, CKLW Windsor, WVON Chicago, WBLS, WNBC and WOR-FM/WXLO New York, and KFI, KGFJ/KKBT, KHJ, KMPC, and KUTE Los Angeles.
Carol Miller – Evening host at WAXQ New York and SiriusXM. Formerly of WNEW-FM, WQIV and WPLJ New York and WMMR Philadelphia.
Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo – Host and namesake of SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio. Formerly of WFAN New York as 1/2 of “Mike and the Mad Dog”.
Jeff Smulyan – Founder and CEO of Emmis Communications
Suzyn Waldman – New York Yankees radio broadcaster. Was first voice heard on WFAN New York.


The Museum of Broadcast Communications (https://www.museum.tv/) announced today the selection of nine new inductees into the RADIO HALL OF FAME (http://www.radiohalloffame.com)for 2022. The 2022 Radio Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at the in-person 2022 Radio Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Chicago’s Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. Tickets are on sale now at: www.radiohalloffame.com (http://www.radiohalloffame.com). A portion of ticket purchases is a tax-deductible charitable donation to the Museum of Broadcast Communications.
THE 2022 RADIO HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES ARE:
Marv Dyson – Radio Executive
Lon Helton – Country Countdown USA
Ellen K – KOST-FM Los Angeles
Broadway Bill Lee – WCBS-FM New York
Walt “Baby” Love – Gospel Traxx
Carol Miller – WAXQ-FM New York
Chris “Mad Dog” Russo – Sirius XM
Jeff Smulyan – Emmis Communication President & CEO
Suzyn Waldman – New York Yankees Radio Network (WFAN-A/F New York)
*Six inductees were determined by a voting participant panel comprised of more than 800 industry professionals and three inductees were voted on by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee. The confidential ballot was conducted by Votem.com and overseen by Miller Kaplan’s Andrew Rosen.*

The Radio Hall of Fame was founded by the Emerson Radio Corporation in 1988. The Museum of Broadcast Communications took over operations in 1991.*
