LKCM owned KOME-FM from its sign-on in 2009 until 2014. The deal will reunite the station with its Classic Country “92.1 Hank-FM (https://www.921hankfm.com)” KTWF-FM Glen Rose, which has overlapping contours serving the area southwest of Fort Worth around Stevenville TX. The Gerry Schlegel led company also owns Texas Country “95.9 The Ranch (https://www.1069theranch.com)” KFWR-FM Jacksboro/Fort Worth, “106.9 The Ranch” KRVF Kerens/Corsicana, and “95.5 Hank-FM (https://www.facebook.com/955hankfm)” KTWF Scotland/Wichita Falls.
The sale of KOME-FM/KITT follows Chisolm Trail taking 1400 KEBE/104.7 K284CT Jacksonville and 1580 KTLU/103.9 K280CL Rusk silent last week (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/233658/kebe-ktlu-sign-off-ahead-of-sale/) ahead of expected sales there.
