The move marks a return to the position for Walsh who previously led the cluster through the ownership of Citadel Broadcasting, Cumulus Media, and Townsquare from 2003 to 2014. She began her career as an account executive in Binghamton at what was then Stoner Broadcasting in 1992. Through multiple acquisitions and mergers, she rose to Sales Manager for Citadel in 1997 and Director of Sales in 2002. She returned to the cluster as Director of Sales in January 2016.
Walsh succeeds Barbara Meaney, who departed to join (https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6940971673009471488/) Cumulus in Syracuse as Director of Sales and Client Success last month after six and a half years leading the Townsquare Binghamton cluster.
