From Radio Insight:
https://radioinsight.com/wp-content/images/2021/08/kpwr-200x200.pngAfter twelve years at Meruelo Media Hip Hop “Power 106 (https://www.power106.com)” KPWR Los Angeles, the last three in mornings, Teddy Mora exited the station at the end of June.
Mora had been hosting a Saturday night show at KPWR until June 2019 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/178283/kpwr-adds-trio-to-nick-cannon-mornings/) when he joined Nick Cannon’s morning show. When Cannon was moved to middays (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/211582/power-106-moves-nick-cannon-to-middays/) in August 2021, he took over as lead host and has been paired with Letty since November (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/215219/letty-joins-power-106-mornings/).
As part of his departure announcement Mora wrote, “I came to Power as a lost kid who had just gone through the worst pain in his life and leave as a man who is in awe of all the miracles and blessings he has received! I’m grateful for the memories & relationships that were made during my time at Power but I’m very aware this is just the beginning. The only thing that pains me is that for the time being I won’t be able to laugh, joke & speak to you LA! I’ve shared every bit of my life & story & you have done the same. Every caller whether we aired it or not means the world to me.”
Letty continues in mornings with the station yet to disclose its future plans for the daypart.
