WAVV will join holdings that include AC 96.9 WINK-FM (https://winkfm.com) Fort Myers, Spanish Rhythmic “97.7 Latino (https://977latino.com)” WTLQ-FM Punta Rassa, and Spanish Tropical “Maxima (https://musicaalmaximo.com)” 95.7 W239CL Golden Gate/97.3 W247CR Pine Island Center/WTLQ-HD2. The company also owns CBS affiliate WINK-TV (https://www.winknews.com).
Alpine Broadcasting also operates Call Communications Group’s 107.9 W300EF Naples as Easy Listening “Easy 107.9 (https://wavv101.fm/easy-listening-music-107-9/)” fed via WAVV-HD2. The deal includes the transfer of the right to operate the translator through July 2026 with three five year automatic renewals unless the tower lease is not renewed.
