Shannon has hosted mornings on WPOR since 1996 and previously programmed the station in 1997 and 1998. Clay joined Saga Portland last year as a part-time host for WPOR and AC “Coast 93.1 (https://coast931.com)” WMGX after graduating college. He will takeover the afternoon show and will also assist Shannon with music selection and scheduling.

WPOR is Portland’s country leader featuring Jon, Joe & Courtney All Morning and 12-In-A-Row All Day. Shannon has anchored the morning show for 26 years and was previously the station’s PD from 1997 to 1998.
Brandon Clay has worked part-time for WPOR and sister station Coast 93.1 (WMGX-FM) since graduating in 2021 with a degree in Radio and Audio Production from Curry College in Milton, MA. He will host afternoons on WPOR and assist Shannon with music selection and scheduling.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
