Habrowski joined KBFF as evening host in 2014 before quickly moving up to middays. She added Music Director duties in 2016 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/96433/alpha-promotes-two-in-portland-to-music-director/), became APD in June 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/119294/ice-rises-apdmd-live-95-5-portland/), and then Content Director just three months later (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/197663/amanda-ice-habrowski-promoted-to-live-95-5-content-director/). Prior to Portland, she hosted afternoons at “Hot 107.9 (https://hot1079fortwayne.com)” WJFX Fort Wayne IN from 2011 to 2014 and worked in her native Detroit at WDRQ and WKQI. Her ‘Ice’ nickname was given to her by rapper Flavor Flav as a contestant on the VH1 dating show “Flavor of Love”.
