Upon closing of the sale, KYOZ/K239CL will join the company’s “Worship 24/7 (https://worship247.com)” network that is heard on 93.7 KURT Prineville/Bend OR, 104.9 KTDD Eatonville/Tacoma WA, and just launched (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/222243/worship-24-7-debuts-in-amarillo/) on 102.3 K272EM Amarillo TX.
The “Ke Buena” brand is also heard on 94.1 KYJJ Boardman OR and 104.5 KZJJ Mesa WA that are in the process of being sold (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/221368/station-sales-week-of-3-18/) by Xana to Noemy Rodriguez’s Alcon Media for $600,000.
Terms of this deal have yet to be disclosed.
247 Media Ministries, the parent organization of the Worship 24/7 network is pleased to announce the acquisition of KYOZ in Spokane, Washington. The Worship 24/7 flagship format will be heard on 95.7 FM and cover the full market of Spokane and into the panhandle of Idaho.
“This format has proven to attract a very loyal audience who senses a connection with God through focused Worship Music.” Said David Harms, President of 247 Media Ministries. “We are excited to see how God will use this signal to draw people to Himself through Worship Music 24 hours a day.”
Pending FCC approval which is expected in Mid-May, 95.7 FM KYOZ will become the fourth signal in the Worship 24/7 Network and join with 93.7 FM KURT-FM in Central Oregon, 104.9 FM KTDD-FM in the South Puget Sound area, and 102.3 FM KBZD in Amarillo, Texas. The full network will cover near- ly 3 million people, plus an online listening community representing 180 countries.
“Psalm 66:4 says ‘Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs,’ so our prayer is to be part of facilitating a world filled with worship, lifting up the name of Jesus,” added Harms. “As the Lord provides, we will continue to grow.”
