Saga agreed to purchase WIZZ from Phil Drumheller’s P&M Radio last July (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/211214/station-sales-week-of-7-30/) for $61,800. The closing of the sale marked the end of Drumheller’s 70 year radio career as the closing took place following his final morning show on the station. Drumheller began his radio career (https://www.recorder.com/Mic-drop-Local-DJ-station-owner-signing-off-Wednesday-after-70-year-career-45811261) in high school in 1953 and has spent it all in Central Massachusetts. He had owned WIZZ since 2003.
