The Oldies brand will continue to be heard on 105.1 KUDD-HD2 American Fork. “105.5 Kool-FM” debuted in December 2020 (https://1055koolfm.com), and had risen in recent months 0.6 – 1.5 – 1.6 in the past three Nielsen Audio ratings monthlies (https://radioinsight.com/ratings/salt-lake-city/). Morning host Mark Waldi says the 105.5 signal will begin simulcasting Variety Hits “100.7 Bob-FM (https://1007bobfm.com)” KYMV Woodruff where he hosts afternoons, writing in a comment on the station’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/1055KOOLFM/posts/367147585289968?comment_id=367150675289659&reply_c omment_id=367166745288052) that “Everything is the same on KOOL-FM. We are moving frequency in hope of getting a stronger signal later. In the meantime, 105.1 HD 2, our website stream and our AMAZING KOOL-FM Mobile App are the best ways to listen in on Pop, Soul and RockNRoll in Salt Lake City, Peter. We are excited about the future of KOOL-FM. We hope you’ll find a way to Bluetooth us onto a set of BIG speakers or earbuds and continue to enjoy the music.”
KYMV held a 1.8 share in the February ratings.
