Austin will continue in the role of Brand Manager for “1080 The Fan (https://www.audacy.com/1080thefan)” KFXX Portland and “910 ESPN (https://www.audacy.com/910espnportland)” KMTT Vancouver WA that he has held since 2008. Austin has also held programming and on-air roles at stations in Columbus, Salt Lake City and Williamsport PA during his career.
At KIFM, he takes the Brand Manager role that had been held by Danny Freisinger since July 2020. Freisinger, who was also Assistant Program Director of “95.7 The Game (https://www.audacy.com/957thegame)” KGMZ San Francisco, was recently promoted to Director of Sports for Audacy’s 2400Sports podcast studio.
Audacy announced Jeff Austin as Brand Manager of ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM) in Sacramento, effective immediately. In this role, Austin will oversee content strategy, talent, operations and branding for the station. He will continue to serve as brand manager of Portland sister stations 1080 The Fan (KFXX-AM) and 910 ESPN (KMTT-AM).

Austin has served as Brand Manager for 1080 The Fan and 910 ESPN in Portland since 2008. Prior to joining the company, his career had stops in Salt Lake City, Columbus and Williamsport, PA, where he held various programming roles.
