97X is now being heard on NIA Broadcasting’s 97.5 W248CA St. Petersburg giving the brand coverage on the western side of the Tampa Bay. To reach the remainder of the market over-the-air, the Alternative format is being simulcast on 94.9 WWRM-HD2 Tampa and 101.5 WPOI-HD2 St. Petersburg.
W248CA had been rebroadcasting NIA’s R&B Oldies 1150 WTMP (http://am1150wtmp.com/) Egypt Lake. That station is in the process of moving 102.1 W271DL Egypt Lake to the tower that currently houses W248CA.
