Brian Hatfield Joins KYGO 98.5 FM as APD/MD/ afternoons

Former COX Country KCYY/SAN ANTONIO MD/afternooner BRIAN HATFIELD has joined LINCOLN FINANCIAL Country KYGO/DENVER as APD/MD/afternoons.

The shift had been covered by TONY V from Rhythmic clustermate KQKS since the NOVEMBER departure of KEOLA for CBS Country KILT/HOUSTON. HATFIELD left KCYY after a brief stint earlier this month, following nine years with CLEAR CHANNEL Country WKSF/ASHEVILLE, NC.

The move to DENVER reunites HATFIELD with station PD EDDIE HASKELL; the two previously worked together at CBS RADIO Country WYCD/DETROIT. “We make a great team and I look forward to his help in keeping KYGO on an upward trajectory,” HASKELL told ALL ACCESS.

Brian Hatfield joins Lincoln Financial Media's Country KYGO-FM/Denver as Assistant PD/MD and afternoon talent. He replaces Tony V from co-owned KQKS, who had beeen filling in since the departure of Keola last November. Most recently, Hatfield was Music Director and afternoon host at KCYY-FM/San Antonio. Before that, he spent nine years with Clear Channel's Country WKSF-FM/Asheville, NC.

During his career, Hatfield has won CMA Station of the Year 2009 and Country Radio Broadcasters/Country Aircheck Music Director of the Year 2010 and 2011.
