The Washington Post political blog, The Fix, solicited nominations for the best political reporters (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2013/05/30/the-fixs-best-state-based-political-reporters-2013-edition/) in all 50 states. The results, announced Thursday, include a couple of Denver Post notables and only one TV reporter from Colorado.
The Post’s Lynn Bartles (@lynn_bartles) and Kurtis Lee (@kurtisalee) were cited as tops in the state along with KDVR-KWGN’s Eli Stokols (@elistokols). It’s an unscientific survey, but still an honor. Bartles noted the list managed to leave out Joe Hanel, the Denver correspondent for the Durango Herald. Who else would you add?
