BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL AC KOSI (KOSI 101.1)/DENVER has launched a much-needed TEDDY BEAR PATROL, in conjunction with ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN and CBS4. People are being asked to donate new teddy bears for kids in need. Last year, over 4,000 teddy bears were collected for the cause.
The patrol was launched today (7/29) on KOSI, with listeners told where to donate a new teddy bear at. Then, on SEPTEMBER 14th, at locations to be announced, KOSI 101.1 personalities and employees from RMHC and CBS4 will distribute thousands of teddy bears to DENVER area first responders. These include the DENVER POLICE, DENVER FIRE DEPARTMENTS and DENVER-area EMS. The teddy bears will be provided by first responders to comfort children involved in traumatizing situations.
