AMC will add to its after- series lineup, (“Talking Dead” is paired to “Walking Dead”), with “Talking Bad,” a “Breaking Bad” after- show. The network announced that and numerous projects in development at its upfront presentation Wednesday.
Among the pickups is “All-Star Celebrity Bowling” from Colorado’s High Noon Productions (http://www.denverpost.com/television/ci_22792721/prospectors-from-colorados-high-noon-debuts-weather-channel), with Jim Berger and Patrick Jager listed as executive producers.
Also given a green light are “White City” from executive producer Tom Freston (MTV) about western diplomats and journalists in Afghanistan; “King,” with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski as exec producers, a ’60s civil rights drama; and “Ballistic City,” a futuristic cop drama. AMC also announced an overall deal with writer-producer Rolin Jones (“Boardwalk Empire, ” “Smash”).
