Blizzard Broadcasting is swapping frequencies at three of its five stations in Steamboat Springs CO on Monday, June 18. The moves will see Sports “Sports on FM” 98.9 KTYV Steamboat Springs move from its current Class A signal to the comparable Class A signal on 105.7. News/Talk 105.7 KKSB will shift to 1230 AM and 100.5 K263AC Canyon Valley. The final move will see Classic Rock “100.5 The River” 1230 KCOQ move to 98.9 (which also holds a CP to upgrade from Class A to a C2). All of the call letters have already been moved to the new homes of the three formats. Nat affected by the changes are Soft AC “Easy 94.1” KEZZ Phippsburg and Country “Big Country 96.9” KBCR-FM Steamboat Springs.
