A Pueblo friend informed me that oldies station KWRP 690/100.3 was off the air. I checked the station's Facebook page and found an explanation that the company is simulcasting KFVR (94.7 The Buzz) on the 100.3 translator while upgrades are made to KWRP's equipment:
To our listeners : we as independent owners are working on technology upgrades and taking steps to get away from some of the very dated aspects of what goes into keeping Cruisin ' running smoothly. We've worked too hard to make Cruisin ' Oldies great to drop this station. Instead of dead air, we felt it appropriate to broadcast our sister station The Buzz. You will still be hearing The Weekly Top 40 80s edition with Rick Dees Saturday nights at 8, as well as the Larry Henderson Finance Show Sundays at 10 am. We greatly appreciate all of our listeners as we strive for improvements!
